We can accept data in any of the standard formats including Print Image, Record Structure, CSV Format, PCL and Postscript print data, Portable Document Format (pdf), plus bespoke formats. All data can be submitted by secure FTP (connected either by ISDN or the Internet using VPN technology), or email. If you prefer we also accept data on various hard-copy media including, CD, DVD, DAT, Exabyte, 3480, 3490 and 3490E.

We can dramatically reduce your postal costs by merging different documents using the same destination address into one envelope. Prime Document have the ability to take multiple data files, eg. Invoices and Statements, and merge them early in the process at the data stage.
This creates a single print stream containing both document types. This print stream is then enclosed into envelopes, utilising software-generated "Optical Mark Recognition". The result is a potential 50% reduction in postal costs.

Prime Document can improve the presentation and accuracy of your address files. For example, we can check your addresses against the Royal Mail's Postal Address File (PAF) and confirm and correct all postcodes. We ensure that the salutation is accurate and we can correct misspellings and the incorrect use of upper and lower case characters. These systems alongside many others ensure that your documents arrive at the correct destination, look professional and maximise postage discounts.
The Royal Mail offers discounts ranging from 8% to 40%. Prime Document can advise and assist you to ensure that you are making the most of these discounts.

Prime Document can produce a variety of reports based on the data submitted. A typical example may include an invoice application, in which you could analyse a list of your customers who spend over a certain amount, another list of customers showing a downward spend pattern over a certain period, or a further list of customers who bought a certain product.
